How to: Register Delivery Dates

Service Manager stores which routes operate on which dates in the background. Whenever you create a new route, or change which days you service items on this table is automatically refreshed for you. However at the start of every year you should specify what week applies to the different delivery periods.

The different delivery periods you need to set are:

Normally you would set the first working Monday of the year to be the first of each of the sequences available. However you might want to change this due to the office being closed for an extended Christmas break.

Using 03/01/2022 as an example. If you were closed this week and started back servicing from the following week being 10/01/2022 you would set the 10th as your first working week - being an A week.

To register delivery dates

  1. On the Home page, choose Administration and then Data
  2. Choose Dates
  3. Click on the Dates Tab
  4. Click Create Dates
  5. Pick the first working Monday of the year
  6. For each of the drops downs, choose the correct period
  7. Click Create

It takes a few minutes to create the dates, after they're created the screen will refresh and you can see the different routes that were created.

To view routes for a date

  1. On the Home page, choose Data and then Deliveries
  2. Click on the Dates tab
  3. Use the search filters to search for the date that you want to view the routes for
  4. Select the date in the top grid
  5. In the bottom grid, click the Routes tab
  6. The routes for the selected date are displayed

You can use the go to links in the grid or on the toolbar to go to the route, vehicle or drivers screens
